Beyond Shoes and Bags.

One life style that has really built me, kept me sane, exposed me, motivated me, inspired me, corrected me and fed me in this single season is the READ a BOOK life style.

It is amazing to have cute bags, shoes, fancy clothes, dream vacations, luxurious spa visits, human hair collections and all but, one thing is sure. When your mind is starved, malnourished or shallow, it gives you a "light personality" no matter how physically Porsche  you are. 

An intelligent lady is sexy. Don't roll your eyes at me LOL..... Just hear me out first. 

Yes, I love the cute things of life but girl, you have to be able to start, support and sustain an intelligent conversation. 

Imagine a drop dead gorgeous lady who reads. Wow! Right? Vlogs are cool but a slaying lady with a book is a conqueror of the universe. 

A lot of wisdom is hidden in books. Seriously girl, try one and give me your feed back. 

Now, you might be like - "Ruth, I don't have time". Let me ask you a question, "how many hours do you spend on social media?". 

I am not judging but, it's the truth because I'm also guilty. 

Study to show thyself approved.......

Do you know that when you read, you comment differently and it shows. Your convo is deep and distinguished. 

Plus, because you have levelled up intellectually, not everything appeals to you any more.

You may also be like "Ruth, I start a book and don't finish it plus it leaves me feeling guilty and irresponsible". 

Girl, don't be hard on yourself. We have all been there. Yes, I have been there but guess what? I kept reading. 

This is how it worked for me, anytime I remember that I am suppose to be reading a book, I pull out from the distraction and read. It could be two pages or chapters, I just read!

It is better to be a crawling reader than a non reader!

A book a month wont turn you into a nerd. It empowers you intellectually. What is wrong with been a nerd any ways LOL. Well, I guess only if you are a sexy nerd. #winks#

Quit that juicy gossip and go read a book..... Yes you girl. You! 

If I may add, you can ask the Holy Spirit to help you READ. Yes..... don't roll your eyes at me like "Holy Spirit to help me read a book again Ruth!!! LOL

Really, I am not trying to spirikoko (spiritualise) everything but, ask the Holy Spirit and watch you transform into a triple Bee - Beauty, Bubbling and Brains.
