COMPANY or COVERING.

     

     My job does a good job of distracting me until it is Friday and there is no vigil and I have to go home while I watch paired hands locked in the harmony of love, laughing carefreely and staring into happy eyes. 

    "He is just a phone call or text away girl, why are you dulling".  Yes, he has refused to define what he wants but at least, you can't be alone by yourself. He can fill up that space temporarily while you wait for your Adam who won't stop sleeping LOL.

   The fact that he hasn't defined his intention in black and white makes it easier for you to switch when Booboaz arrives. 

   But, what if Booboaz arrives and doesn't know that "Mr Company" is a Temp-boo. What if I fall in love with him in the process. What if staring at his lips graduates into tangoing with them and not wanting to let go. What if holding hands graduates into painted fingers tenderly rubbing his back while he reciprocates with muscle hands curving my waist. 

   Most of all, how do I explain to Miss. Heart that he is a Temp-boo and doesn't require our irreversible badge of Love. Not agape!

   The glass can be half full in this situation right??????? Half-full in the sense that I can manage the company that he is offering even though he has made it plain that he has no desire to be my covering. He could change his mind and see that I am worth covering but, what if he never sees that?????

   His company means that he can call off dates via vocal or simply temporarily ignoring calls and text because he has a more interesting date. That is even too far, girl, let's bring it closer, his company means his eyes have no obligation to stick to my beautiful, alluring, perfectly dressed, shoed, perfumed and made-up self while on dates or outings as they dance in the space sampling every daughter of Eve who came ready. 

   His company means I get to enjoy been introduced as his FRIEND after two years of being together with a history of giving the Cookie a few times. 

    His company means, he might not show up on my birthday but, shows up the next day/days or week/weeks with the traditional apologies and the expression "I was very busy Babe. Let me make it up to you. I really didn't want to block Chairman's show on a second thought". Even when he knows he is my Chairman but, I can't complain because I settled for COMPANY when he looked my way.

No eyes, ears and mind have seen what God has prepared for those who love Him!

   Yes God says "We are wonderfully Complex" - Ps 139vs14 - Meaning We are crafted by His hands with a lot of Divine Investments. Meaning We are worthy. We are Royalty. We are Kingdom. We are Treasures. We are wombs of Pace Setters. We are Seas of Wisdom. We are pools of Inventive Ideas. Our Hearts an Ocean of Compassion. Our Eyes an entrance to Goodness. Our Mind a Home of Light. Our fingers  potters of Serene Homes. Our portions  pools of Eternal Wealth. Our Beauty as ageless as the DNA of our Heavenly Father because the wonder of our being is not drowned but unwrapped by Time. 

  Now, why would such kingdom breed not be worth covering??????????????

   Well, maybe because COVERING demands a stretchING into an eternal kingdom persona. Covering you and me yields the birth of divine glory and only a few have the tenacity for such GLORY.
